The complexity of a recipe: middle
Cooking time: 90 min
– 1kg flour for all purposes
– 2 ½ cups of warm water
– 50g yeast
– 20 Korvel Kalamata and Green Pitted Olives sliced
– 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves chopped
– 1 tsp sugar
– 3 tsp salt
– Korvel Extra Virgin Olive Oil / Ellatika Infused olive oil for Greek Salad
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Add 1/2 cup olive oil and the thyme to the bowl and then stir to combine.
Sift the flour, sugar and salt together and then add to the yeast mixture, stirring to combine. Knead the dough until smooth, and then add the kamalata and green olives KORVEL and combine.
Cover the bowl and let dough in a warm area for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 350 ℉ / 180 ℃ and bake for about 30 minutes.
For extra taste add some Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Ellatika Infused olive oil for Greek Salad above the Olive Bread!
Slice and ready to serve!
