Pasta with tomato and basil sauce

Ingredients: 
  • 500g pasta

  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil KORVEL

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 2 large tomatoes

  • 3/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • Salt, pepper

Cooking method: 

1. Cook Pasta following packet directions.

2. Meanwhile, heat extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes salt and pepper. Stir until well combined. Simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Add basil leaves in the sauce and stir. Add sauce to pasta.

4. Top with remaining basil leaves, freshly ground black pepper and some drops of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
